Instructions
Preparation
- Take a bowl and add chicken to it. Spray some oil over the chicken.
- In another bowl mix the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and chili powder. Add all the ingredients in the quantity I mentioned above. Mix all the ingredients well to prepare a sauce or paste.
- Now add the prepared sauce over the chicken. Mix it well to coat the chicken evenly from all sides. I prefer using my hands for better coating of the sauce on the chicken pieces.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes or overnight. The marination gives flavor richness to the chicken
- Meanwhile, cut the veggies into cubes of 1 inch.
- Now it's time to add vegetables and chicken to the skewer. If you are using wooden skewers, make sure you have soaked them in water for 30 minutes to prevent the skewers from burning.
- Put the chicken and veggies on the skewer as per your liking, and repeat until ½ inch on each end of the skewer is empty. It will help you handle the skewers easily.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the skewer holder inside the air fryer basket. Place the prepared skewers on the skewer holder and spray them all with some cooking oil spray.
- Cook them for about 7-9 minutes, do not forget to turn the skewer in the middle.
- Check the internal temperature of the chicken, if it has reached 165 degrees then they are ready. That’s all! Your delectable chicken kebabs are ready to serve. You can serve these finger-licking chicken kebabs with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or salad.
