Make sure the table is clean and then sprinkle a small amount of flour on it. Some people make dough on the table’s ground but I use a cutting board’s surface to make dough. Place the pie crust on the flour-dusted ground and use a rolling pin to make it thinner.
Use a rolling pin until you find the dough is properly flattened and then take the cookie cutter out of the kitchen carcass. Cut out the circles from the dough and place carefully on a plate. In my opinion, 10 to 12 circles are enough but you can customize the quantity based on the number of diners.
Use a spoon to put the apple pie in the center of each circle and avoid overfilling. If you have made small circles then use a teaspoon; otherwise, a tablespoon is good to fill them. Now take another mini pie circle and place it to the filled one then press it to make sure both are properly attached.
Set each apple pie on the table, take a bowl, and crack an egg into it. Use a whisk to beat the egg until you find that egg is ready for the circles and then brush the egg on the top of the mini pie. When you bake the pies, their color will be changed to golden.
If you want to add extra flavor, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the top and turn the air fryer on for preheating. People carelessly bake apple pies; that's why they are unable to make pies like what professional chefs serve. If you leave an apple pie for an extra 20 to 30 seconds, it can change color to dark brown or stick with the basket’s ground.
Set the air fryer at 360 degrees and leave it for 2 to 3 minutes. When you are sure that the air fryer is ready to accept the apple pies, take its basket out and use a cooking spray to prevent sticking. One by one, place mini pies onto the basket and leave for 5 minutes until you find that their color is golden.
Our apple pies are ready so take them out and transfer to a plate. Serve apple pies as soon as possible because they taste more flavorful when hot. In case you find that the pies are not evenly cooked then bake for a further 2 minutes and check if they are prepared.
