Take a small silicon brush and dip it in the olive oil. Then use this brush to paint the inside of the air fryer basket. Make sure that you take your time in this step and properly grease the side of the basket with the olive oil generously.
After that, add 4 full cups of peeled and diced butternut squash of 1 inch each and 24 ounces in total. Put the basket in the air fryer, turn the heat up to 340 Fahrenheit and cook for about twenty to twenty-five minutes. Make sure that you shake the basket every five minutes to ensure that it gets evenly cooked.
While the squash is cooking, take a small bowl and add 1 and a half teaspoon Onion powder, 1 and a half teaspoon Garlic Powder, 1 and a half teaspoon Sweet Paprika, ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, and 1 teaspoon brown sugar. Mix the contents well using a small spoon.
After that, take the air fryer basket out, spray a little bit of olive oil on the tender squash, and toss well. Then pour the mixture you prepared in Step # 03 and shake the contents well to ensure an even spread.
Put the air fryer basket back in the air fryer and cook for another two to three minutes. After that, simply serve the cooked butternut squash with your favorite sauce and enjoy the deliciousness!
