Take a pack of bread and uncover, then set all the slices on the table. Now use a spreader to apply butter on both sides of each slice. Some people apply a thick layer of butter but it does not improve taste so spread a thin layer.
Take a bowl and pour mayonnaise into it and then add Dijon mustard. Use a spoon to mix them for a minute and when you find that both are perfectly mixed, set the bowl aside and grab the slices. Take half of the buttered slices and flip them as the buttered side is facing down and apply the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard mixture.
Applying the mixture on the slices will take not more than 2 minutes. Take the pack of cheddar cheese and uncover it then measure 60 grams of cheese. Divide the cheddar cheese on the mayo and Dijon mustard side of each slice and set the sandwich as the buttered side is facing up.
Turn the air fryer on and preheat it at 320 degrees F. Some air fryers require preheating while others are advanced so it depends upon the type of air fryer you use. Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes and then take its tray out and place slices.
We have applied butter on the front sides of sandwiches so we do not need to use oil. If you use oil, it may make the sandwiches extremely oily and sandwiches may taste weird so avoid oiling. Fry sandwiches for 2 to 3 minutes and then check if they are ready to serve.
Flip sides to see if the slices are changing color to brown. Some people like to eat dark brown sandwiches but in my opinion, light brown tastes more flavorful. Take a plate, place them properly and then serve sandwiches to your partner.
