Take the air fryer out of your kitchen carcass and turn this machine on. Before we start cooking, we need to preheat the air fryer to ensure even cooking. Leave your air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes at 350 degrees F until it is properly heated up to make hot dogs.
While the air fryer is heating up, uncover the pack of hot dogs. We can use beef or pork hot dogs as well as there is a category of combined hot dogs in which we can experience both beef and pork taste simultaneously. I do not force people to choose a single type of hot dog because it is a subject choice.
Take the hot dogs out of the pack and set them on the cutting board until the air fryer heats up. Now, take the air fryer’s basket out and place hot dogs separately in a way that one does not touch another. You need to fry hot dogs for 5 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Check hot dogs in the middle to see if they are evenly cooked and then flip their sides. Some people like to eat dark brown hot dogs while others like to eat slightly brown. Take the hot dogs out of the air fryer when you find that all are evenly cooked and then place them on a plate.
Uncover the pack of buns and take a knife to cut buns in the middle. It is time to toast the buns so place each on the basket of the air fryer and fry. Buns will not take 20 to 30 seconds and if you toast for a long time, they may burn; therefore, you should check them from time to time.
Adding cheddar cheese is an optional part as it depends upon the cook what he wants to serve. If you are adding cheddar cheese then first apply cheese then toast buns. Otherwise, if you make hot dogs without cheese, they will taste yummy so it all depends upon you.
Now take the buns out of the basket using tongs and then place fried hot dogs on the buns. Place the combined buns on the air fryer and toast for a further 90 seconds when you find that the buns are changing their color to brown. Our hot dogs are ready to serve so take a plate and transfer them then use some mustard, pickles, and ketchup to eat buns.
