If you have frozen lamb steaks then leave them out in the open air an hour before you initiate the cooking process. It will make the meat soft and easy to cook. While the meat is out in the open air, take the air fryer out of the kitchen carcass and turn it on to preheat it.
Majority of the people underestimate the importance of preheating, but it is one of the most significant steps that ensures even cooking. Set the temperature at 400 degrees F and leave it for 5 minutes. We can do other tasks while the air fryer is preheating.
Check if the lamb steaks are soft enough and use a paper towel to dry them. Rub the paper towel on the wet steaks for a minute until you find that the moisture has evaporated from the meat. Set lamb steaks on the table and use a spray to apply a thin layer of olive on the meat.
Leave the meat out in the open air when you are done with the drying process and move forward to mix the seasonings. Take a bowl and add salt with ground black paper. Mix them both for a minute and see if each incorporates another and then apply seasonings on the lamb steaks.
Press both sides of the lamb steaks on the seasonings and set them on the table when all are properly coated with the seasonings. Check if the air fryer is ready to cook the lamb steaks and spray a small amount of oil on the tray. People often apply high amounts of oil to make the lamb steaks more crispy but an air fryer is a different kind of kitchen appliance that cooks food while consuming less oil.
Place the lamb steaks on the air fryer and cook them for 2 to 5 minutes. Do not overcrowd the tray with lamb steaks and make sure that one does not touch another. Flip their sides and check them from time to time if they are changing color to dark brown.
It will take 7 minutes to cook a single piece of lamb steak and if you are cooking all at once then you should make them for 10 minutes maximum. When you find that their color has changed to brown, take them out of the air fryer and place them on a plate. Cover them with foil paper and let them rest for another 5 minutes.
