We have gathered all the ingredients, the utensils are on the table and the next task is to cook popcorn. Before we begin making popcorn, you need to notice that if we leave popcorn for a further 30 seconds when they are ready, its flavor may taste weird so keep an eye on the air fryer when you are cooking. I have divided the entire recipe into short and simple steps so follow my footsteps and get a bowl of popcorn within 15 minutes.
Take the air fryer out of your kitchen carcass and then turn it on. We will begin the quest procedure by preheating the air fryer to ensure even cooking so leave the fryer on for 3 to 5 minutes. Temperature matters a lot when we preheat so leave it at 400 degrees F.
While the air fryer is preheating, take the aluminum foil pack and uncover it. Use a knife to cut the foil paper according to the size of the air fryer basket and then place it on the table. Uncover the pack of popcorn kernels and then pour 1⁄4 tablespoon of oil into a bowl.
Add the popcorn to the bowl and mix both ingredients for 30 minutes. The purpose of using oil is to make sure to evenly cook and prevent popcorn from sticking. Our air fryer is ready to cook the popcorn but first set foil paper on the basket and then add the popcorn kernels to the basket.
Spread popcorn kernels on the basket and then cook for 5 minutes. Leave the air fryer while you set the popcorn kernels cooking and move to the butter.Take a safe microwave oven bowl and pour butter into it. Place it into the microwave oven and melt butter until you find it has become liquid.
Move back to the air fryer to check if the popcorn is evenly cooked. Not all the popcorn may be popped, so if there are any remaining, then cook the unpopped popcorn for another 3 minutes. Take the popcorn out and add them to the bowl.
Our popcorns are ready to serve but the butter part is left. Drizzle liquid butter on the popcorn bowl and sprinkle salt. Cover the bowl with a foil paper and shake to mix all the ingredients evenly then add the mixed popcorns to a large bowl.
