You can now make delicious golden Yorkshire puddings without any fuss in an air fryer. The preparation method is more or less the same as you make them in an oven.Yorkshire pudding in air fryer is a mixture of old-school and modern cooking techniques. I am sharing the steps I follow to make Yorkshire pudding in air fryer. Don’t be afraid that you will mess up just follow my lead and your yummiest Yorkshire pudding will be ready in a few minutes
Start with preheating the air fryer. The temperature should be 180 °C.
Take heatproof pudding moulds and drizzle some oil in all four moulds. Put these in the air fryer for about five minutes or more.Let the oil heat up in the air fryer, it should be super hot. So, be patient at this step
While waiting for the oil to get hot, I prepare the batter for Yorkshire. For this, you will need eggs, flour, and milk in the quantity we mentioned earlier. You can prepare the batter in a jug or bowl, take whatever works for you.Take two eggs and whisk them with the flour. Pour milk into this mixture gradually. Keep on whisking until the batter is smooth and fluffy.Once your batter is at the right consistency, season it well. Then mix everything one last time to get a homogenous mixture.
Pour the batter you just prepared into each mould. Fill the mould to the quarter so the pudding does not fall out when puffed up. The oil should be super hot before you pour the batter so the pudding does not stick to the mould. After pouring let it cook in air fryer for about 10-12 mins. Once the pudding is puffed up and has a nice golden colour, flip it. Use a knife, fork, or spoon to flip the pudding. After flipping, cook more for 3-5 minutes. The pudding should be golden from this side too.Repeat the same process until all batter is used. You will have plenty of freshly prepared puddings on your table ready to be served. Now your Yorkshire pudding is ready, you can serve it with any roasted dinner option. My family loves to have it with a lot of gravy. There are plenty of options you can try with Yorkshire pudding.
