There are various ways to cook pigs in blankets but none of them is more helpful than the recipe I have discovered. In this recipe, we can use an air fryer to make pigs in blankets. Here, you may question that an air fryer is a kitchen appliance that is used for making pancakes and vegetables or fried beef cutlets but you may be unfamiliar with the fact that we can use an air fryer for a list of purposes.
In my experience pigs in blankets taste more yummy if you use an air fryer for cooking them. The recipe I have for you does not require a list of utensils nor do you need a full bag of ingredients. It is a budget-friendly and simple to follow method to cook pigs in blankets using an air fryer that requires 30 minutes.

Pigs In Air Fryer
Equipment
- Air Fryer
- Cutting board
- Knife
- Plate
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 750 g Pack of sausageÂ
- 500 g Pack of baconÂ
Instructions
- When you are done gathering all the ingredients and utensils on a table, turn the air fryer on and preheat it for 5 minutes. Majority of people start cooking and neglect the significance of preheating but it can ruin the recipe, change the taste, and affect the quality of the meat. Leave the air fryer for 5 minutes at 360 degrees F and do other tasks while the air fryer is getting ready.
- Uncover the packages of sausage and bacon. If you have bought a package of large sausages, then take a cutting board and use a knife to slice it into small pieces. Set the sliced sausages on the board and take the pieces of bacon to wrap them on the cutlets.
- Carefully wrap a sausage piece with bacon and set each in a bowl one by one. Make sure the bacon is properly wrapped and then check if the air fryer is ready to cook the pigs in blankets. Take its tray out and spray a small amount of oil on it.
- Some people add an abundance of oil while cooking the pigs in blankets but we are using an air fryer to decrease the required amount of oil. Therefore, apply a thin layer of oil and leave for 30 seconds until you are sure that the air fryer can fry meat.
- Add the wrapped bacon to the tray and cook the meat for 5 to 8 minutes. If you cook at a lower flame, wrapped bacon will take time, but the dish will be tastier; on the other hand, if you change the temperature of the air fryer to high, you may end up burning the pigs in blankets. Therefore, I advise all my pupils to cook wrapped bacon at 360 degrees F for 5 to 8 minutes.
- When you find them changing color to brown, flip their sides using a spatula and check them from time to time. If the wrapped bacon is more than 5, you may need to cook them in batches. After 5 to 8 minutes check if they are cooked, transfer them to a plate and serve hot.
