Potato Waffles In Air Fryer
Equipment
- Potato peeler
- Waffle-shaped potato cutter
- Air Fryer
- Silicon Brush
Ingredients
- 1 large sweet potato
- Olive
Instructions
- First of all, you need to prepare your potatoes. So, wash the potato so that you can clean away all the dirt and debris that might be sticking to it. Then, take your potato peeler and carefully peel away the skin of the potato.
- Then, take your waffle-shaped potato cutter and start cutting your potato. You could use a mechanical or a manual cutter whichever is available to you and whichever you are comfortable with.
- After that, take out your air fryer basket and paint its inner walls with olive oil using a silicon oiling brush. You could also use an oil spray bottle for this purpose as well; however, just make sure that you do not use too much oil.
- Now, it is time to transfer the potato waffles into the air fryer basket. Make sure that you do not overcrowd the basket. A single layer of waffles is sufficient enough because that would leave room for the heat to transfer to all corners of the waffles equally.
- Set the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit and replace the basket in its place in the air fryer machine. Let it cook for five to six minutes before taking out the basket and flipping the waffles onto the other side.
- Let the sweet potato waffles cook for another five to six minutes on this side as well before transferring them onto a plate. Serve with your favorite dips and drinks and enjoy the delicious snack!
Nutrition Value
Air-fried potato waffles are astonishingly low in calories. In fact, a single serving of these waffles only has about 97 calories.
