1tspfresh dillIt is optional though highly recommended
½tspdried dill
½tspgarlic powder
Instructions
Start off by washing and peeling your carrots. Once done, cut them into 1-inch diagonal pieces and add them to a large bowl.
Now, take another separate bowl and add butter to it. Melt it in the microwave and mix it with salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, and dried dill. Stir it properly to make sure everything is combined properly.
Pour the batter mixture over the carrot and toss it to coat all the pieces.
Once done, transfer the seasoned carrots to the air fryer basket. Cook them for 12 to 15 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit. In between the cooking, shake the air fryer basket and flip it to make sure everything is cooked well.
Finally, garnish the carrots with freshly chopped dill or serve them as it is.
Notes
Try adding a squeeze of lemon to your carrots before air frying to get the perfect glaze.
You may like sprinkling some chia or flax seeds for extra nutrition.
Substitute oil with a cooking spray and apply it directly on the carrot. It will give you a crispy taste while cutting on oil.
If you want them extra crispy, try adding a handful of breadcrumbs in the batter.
Cut the carrot pieces in equal size to get the perfect texture and taste. You can also use baby carrots, so after roasting, they taste exactly the same.
Do not directly use the frozen carrots or you will be left with a soft and mushy taste. Rather, defrost them thoroughly and throw them in the air fryer for the time mentioned in the recipe.
