Carrots are perfectly roasted in the air fryer, which also happens to make the perfect crispy and flavorful mid-meal snack. One thing I like about carrots in the air fryer is that it does not take more than half an hour to prepare them. Here is my take on this recipe, so give it a try.

Carrots In Air Fryer
Equipment
- Air Fryer
- Air Fryer Basket Liners
Ingredients
- 1 lb whole carrots
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh dill It is optional though highly recommended
- ½ tsp dried dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Start off by washing and peeling your carrots. Once done, cut them into 1-inch diagonal pieces and add them to a large bowl.
- Now, take another separate bowl and add butter to it. Melt it in the microwave and mix it with salt, pepper, olive oil, garlic powder, and dried dill. Stir it properly to make sure everything is combined properly.
- Pour the batter mixture over the carrot and toss it to coat all the pieces.
- Once done, transfer the seasoned carrots to the air fryer basket. Cook them for 12 to 15 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit. In between the cooking, shake the air fryer basket and flip it to make sure everything is cooked well.
- Finally, garnish the carrots with freshly chopped dill or serve them as it is.
Notes
- You may like sprinkling some chia or flax seeds for extra nutrition.
- Substitute oil with a cooking spray and apply it directly on the carrot. It will give you a crispy taste while cutting on oil.
- If you want them extra crispy, try adding a handful of breadcrumbs in the batter.
- Cut the carrot pieces in equal size to get the perfect texture and taste. You can also use baby carrots, so after roasting, they taste exactly the same.
- Do not directly use the frozen carrots or you will be left with a soft and mushy taste. Rather, defrost them thoroughly and throw them in the air fryer for the time mentioned in the recipe.
Try It with Parmesan Garlic Seasoning
There is another popular way I prepare these air fryer carrots. The special ingredient in this recipe is the parmesan garlic dressing. Making this is also pretty easy.
All you need to do is add olive oil, parmesan seasoning, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl and toss your cut carrots in it before transferring them to the air fryer. Throw them in the air fryer for 12 minutes at 360 degrees Fahrenheit and enjoy crispy carrots.
