2large potatoesYou can substitute them with pre-packaged floury potatoes (70g or 1½ lbs).
Olive oil cooking sprayYou can substitute it with any neutral oil spray
1tbspcorn flour
½tspsea salt
Fresh parsleyIt is optional
½tsppaprika
½tspblack pepper
Instructions
Start off by peeling and slicing potatoes into chips. You can cut them into 1cm thick or thin slices.
In the meantime, preheat the air fryer to about 360 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius.
Take a bowl and rinse these potatoes in cold water. Drain the water and pat dry the potatoes. This step will get rid of unnecessary starch.
Next, add the chips into the bowl and toss them with the corn flour. Keep mixing until all the potatoes are coated with corn flour.
In the bowl, add oil, pepper, salt, and paprika, and toss everything again until the potatoes are coated with the mixture.
Now, spray the air fryer basket with the cooking spray. Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer in a single layer at 190 degrees Celsius or 375 degrees Celsius. Cook them for 20 minutes and shake the basket after quick intervals.
Once the time is complete, sprinkle salt and pepper on the chips and serve them however you like.
Notes
Do not overfill the air fryer basket, or you will be left with mushy and undercooked potatoes. Hence, you may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of the air fryer.
