Who doesn’t like golden crispy chips, cooked in an air fryer with a soft interior? Well, you no longer have to deep fry them; just toss them in a little bit of seasoning and let the air fryer do the rest of the work. Here is a complete recipe for my special homemade chips in the air fryer; try it, you might like it.

Chips in Air Fryer
Equipment
- Air Fryer Basket Liners
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes You can substitute them with pre-packaged floury potatoes (70g or 1½ lbs).
- Olive oil cooking spray You can substitute it with any neutral oil spray
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- ½ tsp sea salt
- Fresh parsley It is optional
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Start off by peeling and slicing potatoes into chips. You can cut them into 1cm thick or thin slices.
- In the meantime, preheat the air fryer to about 360 degrees Fahrenheit or 160 degrees Celsius.
- Take a bowl and rinse these potatoes in cold water. Drain the water and pat dry the potatoes. This step will get rid of unnecessary starch.
- Next, add the chips into the bowl and toss them with the corn flour. Keep mixing until all the potatoes are coated with corn flour.
- In the bowl, add oil, pepper, salt, and paprika, and toss everything again until the potatoes are coated with the mixture.
- Now, spray the air fryer basket with the cooking spray. Transfer the potatoes to the air fryer in a single layer at 190 degrees Celsius or 375 degrees Celsius. Cook them for 20 minutes and shake the basket after quick intervals.
- Once the time is complete, sprinkle salt and pepper on the chips and serve them however you like.

Yes, you can definitely store the leftover potato chips in the fridge for up to one week. Just put them in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container and refrigerate them. You can reheat them in the oven for 30 seconds to one minute, depending on the condition.
