Meat thermometer
Brush
Ingredients
4Pork steaks They should be 1-inch thick
1tbspVegetable oil You can substitute it with any other flavorless oil
1 ½tbspPork seasoningsalt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Start the recipe by preheating the air fryer at 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
Now, pat each piece of steak with a kitchen paper towel. It will get rid of any extra moisture.
Once done, put the steak on a flat surface and brush it with the oil lightly. Season it with black pepper, salt, and pork seasoning generously. Flip the steak piece and repeat the seasoning step with the other side.
Place the parchment paper in the air fryer basket, followed by the pork steak. After this, cook it for 8 to 10 minutes and flip it halfway through this time.
Once this time is up, open the air fryer basket and see whether the steak is cooked enough. You can do this by inserting a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the steak. Ideally, it should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius, as it is an indication that the steak is properly cooked.
If it is not cooked fully, you may close the air fryer basket and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Finally, remove the pork steak from the air fryer and allow it to rest for 3 to 4 minutes. After this time, cut it into smaller pieces and serve it with your favorite sides. Enjoy.
