After getting many takeaways, I have learned how to prepare it in the air fryer, and it is such a breeze. If you are wondering how I make pork steaks in the air fryer, dive right in.

Pork Steaks In Air Fryer
Equipment
- An air fryer
- Parchment paper with holes You may substitute it with a silicone liner
- Meat thermometer
- Brush
Ingredients
- 4 Pork steaks They should be 1-inch thick
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil  You can substitute it with any other flavorless oil
- 1 ½ tbsp Pork seasoning salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Start the recipe by preheating the air fryer at 200 degrees Celsius or 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.
- Now, pat each piece of steak with a kitchen paper towel. It will get rid of any extra moisture.
- Once done, put the steak on a flat surface and brush it with the oil lightly. Season it with black pepper, salt, and pork seasoning generously. Flip the steak piece and repeat the seasoning step with the other side.
- Place the parchment paper in the air fryer basket, followed by the pork steak. After this, cook it for 8 to 10 minutes and flip it halfway through this time.
- Once this time is up, open the air fryer basket and see whether the steak is cooked enough. You can do this by inserting a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the steak. Ideally, it should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius, as it is an indication that the steak is properly cooked.
- If it is not cooked fully, you may close the air fryer basket and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Finally, remove the pork steak from the air fryer and allow it to rest for 3 to 4 minutes. After this time, cut it into smaller pieces and serve it with your favorite sides. Enjoy.

Can I Cook Frozen Pork Steak in the Air Fryer?
Yes, you can always cook frozen pork steaks in the air fryer. However, for this, you must take some time to defrost it. Once it is completely defrosted, cook it the regular way at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, but increase the time from 8 minutes to 12 minutes, and flip the steak halfway through the time.
What to Serve These Air Fryer Pork Steaks with?
There is nothing that does not go well with these air fryer pork steaks. Some of my favorite sides for these pork steaks include roasted potatoes, sauteed vegetables (spinach and zucchini), corn, sweet potatoes, and creamy garlic air-fried potatoes.
