Ingredients
- 5 slices Bread of your choice I prefer whole wheat bread
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning or parsley
- 3 tbsp butter or olive oil if you are vegan
- Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Take 5 slices of your favorite bread. Cut the bread into bite-size cubes with the help of a knife over the cutting board.
- Melt the butter and put it in a mixing bowl or add olive oil if you are vegan.
- Now you have to add the seasonings to the mixing bowl. I add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese.
- Stir the seasoning in butter or olive oil very well.
- Pour the seasoned butter over the bread. Stir with a wooden spatula to coat the bread well. Leave it for 3 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take out the air fryer basket and put the bread in it.
- Cook for 5 minutes then stir them with a spatula and cook for another 2 minutes. You can now cook for an additional 3 minutes for extra crunch and crisp over the croutons.
- Take them out from the air fryer basket carefully and serve them with salad or soup.
