Pork Joint In Air Fryer
Equipment
- Rack
- Paper towels
- Kitchen foil
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Tongs
Ingredients
- 2.2 lbs Pork roastÂ
- 2 tsp Fine sea saltÂ
- 1 tbsp Olive oilÂ
Instructions
- If there is moisture on the skin of the meat, you can use a paper towel to soak it. Pat a paper towel on the upper skin and dry the piece of the pork. then make shallow cuts on the skin of the pork using a knife if you have a larger piece of the pork. It will help you make the pork piece crispy and ensure even cooking.
- Rest the piece of pork on the cutting board and pinch salt on the skin. Rub salt well on the skin that has the mark of the cuts and make sure that the entire piece of the pork joint is well coated. Leave the coated piece of pork in the open air for 10 minutes and move forward to do other tasks of the procedure.
- Take the air fryer out of the kitchen carcass and turn it on to preheat it. The majority of people neglect the importance of preheating but it is a necessary step that ensures even cooking and makes meat more crispy. Leave the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes until it is ready to cook.
- Pat the piece of pork while the air fryer is preheating and drizzle a small amount of oil on it. Use your hands to coat oil on the piece of pork and check if the air fryer is ready to cook the pork joint. Take the basket of air fryer out and apply a small amount of oil on it using a spray.
- The purpose of using an air fryer is to avoid the consumption of heavy amounts of oil. Therefore, you need to apply a thin layer and then transfer pork from the cutting board to the tray of the air fryer. Cooking may take time if your air fryer is slow but normally 30 minutes are sufficient to cook pork joint.
- Cook at 320 degrees F in the beginning and after 5 minutes, increase the temperature to 375 degrees F. Check the pork joint from time to time and use tongs to flip its sides. Insert a meat thermometer inside the thickest part of the pork joint and check its temperature.
- The meat will gradually change its color to brown. Check the temperature from time to time and when you find that it has reached 63 degrees F, take the piece of pork out of the air fryer and place it on a tray. Warp it with the kitchen foil and leave for 10 minutes.
- Check the pork joint after 10 minutes and taste it. Drizzle your favorite sauces on the meat and present it in a large bowl containing salad around it. Slice it into medium-sized pieces and serve as soon as possible because it tastes more delicious when hot.
